and the moving Map with my Aircraft presently located at Santa Monica (KSMO).(also includes other Multiplayer Pilots throughout the world).> example of part of the FS Navigator Map, showing all the airfields, layouts, fuel pumps, etc, and various radio frequencies and ILS Glide Slopes. I am also wondering about the map in FS X, can it be used on a separate monitor or is that what this program you folks are talking about does? Will it help with things like doing circuits as in FS X because right now in the Flight Planner I have found no way of taking off and landing at the same airport. Now what is the difference between what you folks are talking about and me bringing up the map when flying in FS X? By the time I do it I shall probably be long gone. When I say build I mean purchase things like a motion seat and consoles already put together. FSNavigator 5 will be introduced at a low price.

For owners of FSNavigator 4.x there will be no upgrade to version 5. FSNavigator version 5 is being developed, and is expected to be available mid-2007.

If you decide to download it and try it whatever you do make sure that you don't install the gpsexport DLL if you are running Fs9 it is the old version and will overwrite the new one for Fs9.As I want to build a motion home twin engine simulator I want to get information on all that is available. Will my current version of FSNav work with FSX The present version FSNavigator 4.7 is not compatible with FSX. A shame because if you need a freeware panel this is without doubt about as real as it gets! If anyone needs a hand with installing it I'll be glad to help. A great pice of codingĮric's website is a bit confusing and tons of people have had a problem getting his panel to work and have given up. Little niggles like the push pull mode for managed mode being the wrong way round are really not that important. All the data you need is stored in the FMC and it integrates pretty well with the HSI and autopilot too. Now dare I mention the fantastic freeware Eric Marciano panel for the A320 which has an albeit limited FMC but if you don't have the PSS A320 is a great combination with particularly POSKY and iFDG A320's? No more scrabbling about for charts, ILS frequencies, Alt-TAB ing to AFCAD. Glad to be a member and hope the bit of info on FSNav was helpful. FSNav is a great aid to planning your company routes, make sure you have the latest Nav data downloaded as they do change!

If you have never used the FMC do spend some hours reading and learning how to use it. The FMC can calculate all of the variables that are needed for most economic engine speeds for all phases of the flight etc. The CD with the company flight plan is loaded up and all routing info is uploaded into the FMC and then the details of the aircraft dynamics entered such as take off weight fuel quantities passengers and so on. After all thats the way it's done in the real world. Once you've used the FMC you'll never look back and you'll find yourself using FSNav to plan your route rather than actually fly it.

This DLL is available from the PMDG site in the Miscellaeneous section of their downlaod pages or direct from Avsim via This requires a DLL that you simply place in your FSNav installation which will then allow you to export from FSNav in a format that the FMC of the 737 NG FMC will understand. You can use your FSNav flight plans directly in the 737 NG by exporting them from FSNav and then importing them into the FMC of the 737. Whilst you can use FSNav in stand alone mode you will miss out on the fantastic reality that the PMDG aircraft offers.
